I found Roosevelt's "The Man in the Arena" so useful in 2024. It reminded me that what really matters is continuing to show up and giving it your all, regardless of outcome. It helped me focus on learning and growing from challenges instead of worrying about criticism or failure.

Dig Agency announces investment and partnership in Brand Ninja

When I’m not building Brand Ninja, I love playing music. I recorded an EP in 2022 before I was lucky enough to have some ‘once in a life time’ opportunities to build Brand Ninja. When negotiating record and publishing deals, the key metric music execs threw back at me was my follower-growth on socials.

This was the first time my ‘dream’ was directly correlated with my ability to create content, a reality nearly everyone faces in today’s increasingly digital world. This became a key inspiration for starting Brand Ninja. Funny how life works out!

Anyway, I randomly dropped the songs on Spotify on NYE - give them a listen! If you like them - great! If not, don’t worry, I’m very focussed on my day job…! 🤣

It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood.
